The panel of judges will consist of the National Awards Committee Chairperson, three members of the
current National Board and three Past National Presidents, to be chosen by the current National President.
The last three winners of the National All-American Volunteer of the Year Award will also have a
vote. A tie vote will be broken by the current National President.
Nominee must attend at least 75% of club meetings and participate in at least 80% of club projects. Longevity
will be considered. Only one entry per district will be accepted. The National President will present
the award to the winner at the winner’s club. This award will not in any way be associated with the
leadership level. It’s for club level volunteers. Any member serving as a district or national officer during
the past 5 years is ineligible.
A narrative, not to exceed two pages. Narratives more than two pages in length will be returned to the
writer and will not be considered until returned within the two page limit. Some suggestions for the narrative:
is the person a volunteer; do they say yes when asked; does their presence enhance meetings, social
functions and other events; are they positive, enthusiastic, loyal, creative, gregarious, possess a sense of humor and solve problems.
